"The remembering makes it now. And sometimes remembering will lead to a story, which makes it forever. That's what stories are for. Stories are for joining the past to the future. Stories are for those late hours in the night when you can't remember how you got from where you were to where you are. Stories are for eternity, when memory is erased, when there is nothing to remember except the story." -Tim O'Brien

Ankara, through the camera's lens

Just as I travel, my camera travels too. Capturing the ordinary, documenting the extraordinary, creating a means of remembering, of sharing and of viewing the world in a different way.

One month ago today, I left the United States and boarded a plane to Ankara. Here, a sharing, a documenting, of some of the ordinary and extraordinary of the past month.

The spectacular view from my bedroom window:

At sunrise,

In daylight,

At sunset.
